“Our Families, Our Children and Our Veterans Shouldn’t Have to Weather the Storm”
Therese Sander Cut Health Care for 180,000 Missouri Families and 70,000 Children. Then Voted Herself a 14% Pay Raise.
That’s right. We elected Therese Sander to fight for us and instead she voted to cut health care from 180,000 of our families and 70,000 children. 70,000 more children in Missouri will not have adequate health care coverage because of Therese Sander.
Therese Sander voted against full funding for health care for our veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
We ask our young men and women in uniform to fight for us - to put themselves in harms way to secure our freedom. The least that politicians, like Therese Sander, could do is to make sure that our veterans have good health care coverage. Instead, Therese voted against health care for our veterans.

Our elected officials shouldn’t be giving themselves pay raises while they are cutting health care from our families and our children.
It’s a matter of priorities… Health care comes before pay raises for politicians.
I became a pastor because I wanted to share my love of the Bible and of Jesus Christ with people, but also because I wanted to help those who were suffering or in need.
To help the least among us. “Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.” Psalm 41:1
Shouldn’t we expect the same values in those people we elect?
That’s why I can’t understand why Therese Sander would vote to cut health care coverage from 70,000 children or kick 180,000 Missouri families off of Medicaid or vote against full funding for health care for our troops.
And then vote to give herself a pay raise.
It’s not that I am against pay raises for doing a good job… but how is taking health care coverage away from our children or families doing a good job?
